The Awarding Ceremony for the Water is Life Photo Contest was held at the SM Megamall A, Activity Center, Ortigas Center last August 14, 2008. The winners are as follows:
First Prize- “Every Drop Counts” by Pepito Frias;
Second Prize-“Freshwater by the Sea 2” by Victor Kintanar;
Third Prize= “Basura River Cleaner” by Nikki Sandino M. Victoriano;
Special Prize on Water for People= “More than Purified Water” by Andrew M. Magturo;
Special Prize on Water for Health and Sanitation=“Dying Water” by Ernie Penaredondo; and
Special Prize on Water for Food and Agriculture=“Katuwang sa Pananim” by Mary Christine P. Villanueva"
